Did a swap the other day at the local scrap man. I had been collecting lead in various forms from freinds for ages so nI could replace the 1.8 t of scap iron that rusts away in the bilges and makes a terrible mess.I tried to get an in on a big pot and gas burner but in the end decided to do the deal at the scrappies.
I took in 326kg which they bought for $1.5/kg and added $220 and got 260kg in nice 20kg ingots.$3.00/kg What a deal now have to figure a way to strap them down.
Still short about 500kg- anyone got some for sale?
